Revitalization Micro hydropower at Medini tea plantations

ABSTRACT
In the tea plantation Medini Kendal, there is micro hydropower plant instalation main Dutch Colonial . Since 1993 this source energy can’t be used anymore. The purpose of this resource is to know how much the micro hydropower potential has, to analyze the destruction, re-design civil and electromechanical engineering and how to organize when re-function of this electric energy. The step of this resources include to know how much water flow, head examine and collect the data of the installations, than re-dsign civil and electromecahnical engineering, include power channel, fore bay, trash rack, penstock water turbine, electric generator and installlations of micro hidropower. The result survey on November 24, 2006 until march 24,2010 show minimum flow of water spring 0,101 m3/sec, effective head 46,7 m. Base on the calculations median from the efficiency 50-70% get electric powe 27,5 kW. By Revitalitation (re-fuction) programs, the electric energy can be use again to support for improve quality of people society life a round the installations of micro hidropower plant.
